discoveryTRAINS' rail tours are typically of seven to eight days duration. Careful consideration is given to planning itineraries so that guests enjoy a leisurely pace of travel avoiding as much as possible early departures and late arrivals. Stopovers are programmed to rhythm each day's travel offering the opportunity to relax or explore. The also privilege the use of quality hotels near to each railway station used.
As discoveryTRAINS' tours are land-only, they leave you in full control of how you get to the departure point and whether you stop-off en route or add days before or after the tour. discoveryTRAINS will happily advise you on the numerous possibilities available - plane, train, boat or car, depending on the circuit.

Reservation Policy
A 35% deposit is requested for tours. Your reservation request becomes a reservation upon receipt of your deposit. Your reservation becomes a booking upon receipt of the balance due, normally 60 days before departure.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your reservation or booking, the following policy applies: - More than 30 days before departure: Handling fee of 30 € retained.
- Between 30 and 21 days: 30% of total cost retained.
- Between 20 and 8 days: 60% of total cost retained.
- Less than 8 days: 90% of total cost retained.
- No-show: 100% of total cost retained.
