Overview
Trains Unlimited, Tours has been operating unique and spectacular railroad train adventures around the world for the rail fan and tourist since 1985. They have a staff of professional travel agents, railroaders, and rail fans that plan and operate their tours.
The company is owned and operated by people who love trains, railroads and rail transportation. They maintain a very good working relationship with railroad management all over the world and strongly believe that "it takes a railroader to know how railroads think and operate". Indeed, Trains Unlimited, Tours understands railroad management because most of their staff are professional railroaders, both in the operating and management field, some still active and some now retired. Their Tours Manager has 27 years working for several railroads in a number of positions.
Trains Unlimited, Tours has now operated over 1,100 charter trains and private rail cars in 47 countries. Formed 24 years ago, they promote train travel and help railroad historical groups and museums preserve the rich history, rare documents and priceless equipment of the railroad heritage around the world. Over the years they have worked very closely with many railroad groups and museums to help raise funds for preservation, including the donation of money, free trips, drawings and other support. Trains Unlimited, Tours is proud to have donated tens of thousands of dollars and hundreds of man-hours to non-profit railroad clubs, groups and museums. And they will continue to do so for many years to come.

Payments Accepted
Reservation Policy
Reservations are accepted by phone, fax, email, or postal mail. The required deposit is due within 14 days of making a reservation. If not received this reservation will be cancelled. Upon receiving the deposit a invoice and tour documents will be mailed to the client. Final payment is due 100 days before all tours begin.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing by mail, fax or e-mail before any refunds will be made. - 100 days prior to the start of any tour you will receive a full refund less a $250 per person administration fee.
- 99 to 75 days before the departure of any tour 80% cancellation penalty based on the full cost of the tour.
- Any cancellations received 74 or less days before the start of the tour will not receive any refund.
If Trains Unlimited, Tours must cancel any tour for any reason full refunds will be issued to all clients.
